What is the Accounting Certificate?
The deregulation of the accounting profession in 2014 meant that anyone could open an accounting firm regardless of their experience and education. Before 2014, the Ministry of Finance awarded Certificates only to those who had at least three-years’ experience in the accounting profession and a Master’s degree in accounting. Therefore, when looking for a partner for one’s accounting needs, it is only advisable to choose a firm whose experience is verified by the Ministry of Finance and confirmed by an Accounting Certificate. We hold Accounting Certificate No. 21025/2008.
How does our civil liability insurance policy protect you?
The accounting act imposes on persons who provide accounting services a duty to keep an insurance policy. Minimum coverage is only 10,000 EUR. Such a policy does not cover a number of activities, however, like keeping a revenue and expense journal KPIR, preparing for client tax returns, and personnel and payroll issues. To be fully safeguarded against consequences of one’s mistakes or effects that stand in contradiction with interpretations, it is worth checking the type of insurance policy an accountant holds. Our company maintains a mandatory insurance policy, second layer insurance, and voluntary insurance with coverage of one million zloty. We also have coverage of damaged or destroyed documents.
